The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is designed to test the language competence of applicants who need to study or work in a country where English is the primary language of communication.

General IELTS 


The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is meant to evaluate the language competence of candidates who need to work or migrate to a country where English is the primary language of communication. IELTS is necessary for Visa or many organisation in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and USA. 

What is the format of the IELTS Academic test?


The General IELTS is simpler as compare to the Academic IELTS. The IELTS General Training test is for students applying to study at a lower level than a bachelor's degree. This includes a school or college that is taught in English. However, before you choose which IELTS exam modules are required for your institute admission, you must check with them.

 

The General IELTS can also be used for work purposes or other job-related training especially for those who are looking for migration to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. The Listening and Speaking parts are the same for IELTS Academic and IELTS General, except Reading and Writing parts. 

 

The exam is divided into four parts: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking Sections.

How is the IELTS Test Scored ?

There is no pass or fail for the IELTS test. The display score between 1 and 9. For migration purpose, the required band score may differ upon the country to country. You must check with the Migration agents/consultants or the particular government in such country whether how much bands score is required. 

Can Candidates re-take the test ? How is the IELTS Test Scored ?

 

Learners receive their results 2 weeks after they take the IELTS test. If they do not achieve their required score, they may take the test again as soon as they can book a place in a relevant centre.

How Long is the Test result Valid ?

Generally, the test result is valid up to 2 years or not more than 2 years old.
